Distant Dads is created to assist those of us who are geographically distant from our children. Whether you are away on business, stationed over seas serving our country, or a non-custodial parent and you live away from your children. This site is for you.
I have lived away from my children for 10 years and not a day gets easier. That is why I created this site, for you and for me.
I hope to be posting regular comments on how to help us cope with missing things that we know we can never get back. Children walking for the first time, loosing teeth, first dates, proms, etc. all things in our children's lives we miss - and the children we miss.
I hope this will offer encouragement and opportunities of hope. Feel free to comment or email me with ideas and suggestions. If you know of something that we should share please let me know and i will post it.
